Alexander was born much too late to have received a land grant. His Grandfather, Captain George Paget BROWN moved to Nova Scotia in 1784 and received 1,000 acres, where he stayed. His son, David is the father of Alexander, Senior, and the husband of Dorothy RICE. Alexander married Grace Gilmore, and is the father of Alexander, Junior. David and his son Alexander both had residence in New Brunswick. Jim Roaix
