However, I just found a report of her death in the Saint John Daily Telegraph, which I'm including below. Not sure if you've seen it before or not. Cheers, Mark Brown ----- Tuesday, 2 November 1886, The Daily Telegraph (Saint John) Sackville Items SACKVILLE, NOV. 1. A very sad death occurred here on the evening of Thursday last. The wife of Captain E. S. Towse, of the brig Herbert, had been unwell for some days, but not considered dangerously ill. On Thursday evening, while conversing cheerfully with some friends, she suddenly expired. It is particularly sad as Capt. Towse is away on a voyage to South America and cannot probably hear the sad news until he returns home. The deceased was 46 years old and leaves seven children, two of whom are under ten years of age. The funeral took place on Sunday.
