In the transcription of the 1851 census I have [edited by Wayne A. Gillcash], I only see a Patrick Hayse [age 49], wife Mary [age 38], and 8 children, ranging in age from 3 to 20. No family headed by Thomas Hays. From a database I have on mostly Irish folks in Botsford parish, Patrick Hayes married Mary Savage on 16 Jan 1829; Mary was d/o Dennis Savage & Mary Devine.
