Good morning All. This morning I have been advised by the family of Muriel M. Davidson, my Co-chair of the Canada Census Committee, that her medical situation has deteriorated to the point where she is not expected to recover. While undergoing surgery to remove gallstones they discovered cancer surrounding the gallbladder and extending to the liver and abdominal wall. Muriels kidneys have shut down and she may only have hours left to her. Her family is gathering at her bedside as I write this message. At this time I am certain that many of you will wish to include Muriel and her family in your thoughts and prayers, as they are in mine. I will keep you posted regarding any change in Muriels situation. Gordon A.
