They had two sons, William Henry born in 1847 and James Hennigar born 1849. Fanny died in 1854 in Saint John and Francis drowned shortly thereafter. The two sons (my g-grandfather and his brother) were raised by Fairn relatives in Nova Scotia. Could Francis Sayre "Fanny" Chapman been one of the children of Martin Chapman and Mary Sayre?
