The 1871 Census for Dorchester lists a Catherine Chambers in the home of Edward Chambers.? My research tells me this Catherine is the mother of Edward but the ages listed do not prove this fact. ? Can anyone shed some light on this?? What happened to this Catherine?? Is it possible to find a death record? ? Edward Chambers is the brother of my gr gr grandfather, James Chambers, ?who was a Master Ship builder at Hickman Yards on Dorchester Island.?? Would like to determine if this Catherine was their mother.? Thanks for any suggestions.
