Michael Carroll (1791-1856)arrived in NB in 1815 and married Phebe about 1824. His name appears in the records of William Harper's store at Moncton during the period 1815-1820. James Carroll (1787-1873) arrived at Melrose, NB in 1819. It's possible that they were related. James named a son Michael (born about 1829). But, I haven't found anything to prove a relationship.
