Kanner). In it there is the household of John Carroll, age 24, native, farm laborer, Bapt., and Phebe, mother, age 65, native, housekeeper, Bapt. In the 1851 census of Dorchesster (Provincial Archives of New Brunswick, Wayne Gillcash, editor) is the family of Michael Carrol, age 60, Irish, labourer, entered the colony in 1851; Phebe, wife, age 54, Irish, birth (born in colony), John, son, age 18, Irish, birth; and William, son, age 10 years, birth.
