My great-grandfather, James Reid, and his brother, Alexander, came from Paisley, Scotland, in 1866. Alexander (Sandy) brought his family, and Agnes was the name of one of the daughters. James Reid settled in Westville (Albion Mines,) Pictou County, and Alex and family settled in Oxford, Nova Scotia, but my aunt believed Agnes went to Port Elgin, Westmorland County.
