However, I found this in Daniel Johnson's Newspaper Extracts: ----- Daniel F. Johnson. Records acquired by the Provincial Archives are not translated from the language in which they originate. The inquiry into the death of Betsey PETLEY was concluded by Coroner Wortman yesterday morn. (see original for testimonies of Charlotte BOWSER, Margaret NELSON, Edward SCOTT, Christie McDONALD, Leonard WILBUR. We find that the immediate cause of Betsey Petley's death was consumption probably caused by the dissolute life she had and the abuses received from Leonard Wilbur while living with him. The coroner's jury: E.C. COLE, Neil McDOUGALL, A. McKINNON, James C. STEWART, Thos. GLENDENNING, H.H. COLPITTS, G.R.
