Checked the Saint John paper and only came up with a blurb about his brother asking for an inquest. Finally found it in the Fredericton paper. Assuming it is your Leonard Len. Wilbur, a well known resident of Telegraph street, Moncton, was stricken with hemorrhage of the brain Tuesday morning and passed away Wednesday morning about 6 o'clock without regaining consciousness. Deceased, who was forty-eight years of age, was a son of Abram Wilbur and carried on a meat business in the city at times. Deceased was around town Monday night and appeared to be in his usual health. Source: Daily Telegraph Aug. 27, 1903 Page 7 The notice concerning the inquest: Shep. Wilbur, brother of Len. Wilbur, who died suddenly Wednesday morning from what was reported by his medical attendant as hemorrhage of the brain, applied to Dr. Purdy Thursday to hold an inquest. Dr. Purdy found nothing to sustain the suspicion of the brother that the deceased had met with foul play and accordingly decided an inquest unnecessary.
