That's correct. I'm in touch with, frequently, families who are descendants of Martin and Sarah Crossman Cole. This family has the surname Buck. Due to the marriage of a Buck and a Cole, this family is related to my branch twice, through my gt. gt. grandmother Catherine Buck who married Edward Cole, s/o Ebenezer Cole and his second wife Margaret Wade. Interestingly enough, a few Bucks and a few Coles ended up in Framingham MA and lived nearby each other. The younger generations didn't know they were related to each other. They do now and have created a Buck family page where all the related Cole and Buck desecndants are staying in touch on a fairly regular basis.
