Nothing on Quebec census records in there. Do you think your John Rivers and family were from Westmorland Co? I looked through all the parishes of the 1851 census [transcription edited by Wayne A. Gillcash], and didn't see any Rivers / Desrivieres / Lariviere, Rivard surnames at all. Best of luck in your research!
