They lived in Rockland (which was part of Memramcook) from ca. 1857 - 1896. The Provincial Archives of NB and the local church have nothing on them. Their first child was baptized in 1857 and Anne was listed in the 1851 Albert Co. census as living at home with her mother, so they had to have been married between those years. My question is: are there any other civil marriage records besides the Westmorland County Register, and does anyone know if significant amounts of records were destroyed over the years (fire etc.)?
