I,m only quessing from here on, that Hezekiah Junior had another Hezekiah (born 1805 died Dec 21 1890 in Calais, Maine) that married a Jerusha Cole(both of Sackville Parish, Westmorland Co., N.B.) on October 28 1830. She was the daughter of James Cole that married a Jerusha Alverson. The early King records here in New Brunswick are very limited. Any help on your part would be appreciated. My great, great, great grandmother was Cynthia King who I think was a daughter Benjamin King that married a Judith Smith. This Benjamin King was a brother to Hezekiah King that married Mercy Thornton. I had read it before, and it is such a terribly sad event. At least she was in 'cheerful conversation'. How terrible for her friends. I hadn't realized until I'd read it, that her younger children had lost their mother so young. I'd always thought that they were all at least in their teens. It is just as sad to think that none of us knows her parentage. Are you a descendent of hers as well? Leslie MacGregor Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. However, I just found a report of her death in the Saint John Daily Telegraph, which I'm including below. Not sure if you've seen it before or not. Cheers, Mark Brown ----- Tuesday, 2 November 1886, The Daily Telegraph (Saint John) Sackville Items SACKVILLE, NOV. 1. A very sad death occurred here on the evening of Thursday last. The wife of Captain E. S. Towse, of the brig Herbert, had been unwell for some days, but not considered dangerously ill. On Thursday evening, while conversing cheerfully with some friends, she suddenly expired. It is particularly sad as Capt. Towse is away on a voyage to South America and cannot probably hear the sad news until he returns home. The deceased was 46 years old and leaves seven children, two of whom are under ten years of age. The funeral took place on Sunday. Dear List, Can anyone on the list tell me for whom Collins Lake in Westmorland County was named? It is located just off Route 15, between Shemogue and Port Elgin. Thanks, George

They were married in Amherst on Mar 12 1940 with consent of parents so I assume Mary Jane was too young. She lived until 1887.She was in the 1871 Cumberland census married with Daniel and 1881 Cumberland census as a widow with her son Albert James Gourley.I have not been able to determine who her parents were-maybe Martin and Mary ? I live on Van Island so limited in my research. Hopefully someone might know something. Mary Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Do you have others to compare with? What did Luther King do for a living? (Mount Allison?) Are there any Detroit, Michigan connections for any of your Robinson people? I do not believe there is a family connection. These are two people of only a few who I have yet to figure out from the old Moore photo book. In one short post you have answered all my questions. Thankyou SO MUCH! Loyd Cecil King married Phyllis Adelaide Maddox of Blue Hill, ME. Her parents were Adelaide Mabel Hinckley and Franklin E Maddox of Blue Hill, ME. I have the Hinckley line going far back thanks to some ancestry buffs in the Hinckley line. However Maddox is difficult to trace as there may have been an adoption, not sure. I wish i could download photos from this site, not quite sure how to do this. The house is beautiful!! I will update my family tree with many thanks to you! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The next generation back is Benjamin King marring a Judith Smith. The next is Hezekiah King marring a Roxanna Danks. Her father was Benoni Danks who was married to a Mary Morris. This could be where the name Benoni comes from.Benoni Danks was what at the time called a rebel as he was involved in the Eddy Rebellion when some Americans tried to over throw the British rule in what was then Nova Scotia.Sarah Robinson,s father as far as I know was William Robinson who was married to Sarah Jane Bowser. Sarah Jane,s father was William H. Bowser who was married to Rebecca Burnham. My 3rd great grandmother was Cynthia King who I believe was a sister to Benjamin that married Sarah Jane Cook.
