In the 1851 census of Dorchesster (Provincial Archives of New Brunswick, Wayne Gillcash, editor) is the family of Michael Carrol, age 60, Irish, labourer, entered the colony in 1851; Phebe, wife, age 54, Irish, birth (born in colony), John, son, age 18, Irish, birth; and William, son, age 10 years, birth. I think the Bear, Kephart, and Fritz families of Buck Co are related and part of our lineage. Some Bear men migrated "west" and I think they settled in Cumberland Co Pa where my great grandfather popped up. I just cannot id his parents nor make the connection positively with the Kephart-Fritz-Bear lines with ours. Oh well, such is the way this research goes.
