To all- Many, many thanks for the numerous faxes sent to me -- we do not know how many faxes Mr. Rock received (he will never tell) -- but he must know by now WE want the Post-1901 census released. I agree with Gordon Watts -- on to another step! Muriel M. Davidson muriel_davidson@sympatico.ca Co-Chair, Canada Census Committee Brampton, Ontario ------------------------------------- Greetings All. As our effort of the past week, faxing Industry Minister Allan Rock to encourage him to effect immediate transfer of Historic Census records to the National Archives was intended to be a short term exercise, we will now bring it to a halt. We thank all of those who sent their fax. Although we have no way of knowing how many faxes were actually sent, we believe that our effort was a success. I had a report over the weekend that both the Ministry fax, and Mr. Rock's office fax had stopped receiving. My assumption is that both machines had run out of paper which would indicate that they had been busy. Thank you all for your support. Happy Hunting. Gordon A.
