MUNRO b. 6 Apr 1859 St. John, NB David Allen MUNFORD b. 31 Mar 1862 Portland, St. John, NB, m. Mary E. NOILES b. 13 Aug 1861 Portland, St. John, NB Bertha Janette MONTFORD Abt 1864, m. Herbert GOULD This family lived part of their life in St. John, NB, and at least part in Amherst, NS. However, a few weeks ago, a cousin sent me an envelope of things that belonged to my Grandmother (daughter of Alice Louise MONTFORD and Donald L. MUNRO), who died in 1959. It shows some kind of a connection to a William MUNFORD and Barbara HEFFLER/HOFFLER that were married 28 Apr 1820. I had previously found this MUNFORD family in the 1851 Census. NS, Canada, is the right age to have been born to William MUNFORD and Barbara HEFFLER between their 1820 marriage and the first child that I know anything about, who was William George MUNFORD b.
