I'm not giving up without a fight! I know I must have MAXWELL family in New Brunswick, and I'm going to keep trying till I find them! They lived, at least for a while, in Portland, Saint John County. Here's what I have: John Maxwell (b. abt. 1813 in Ire.) and Jane Johnston Maxwell (b. abt. 1815 Ire.) The 1871 Census has these children: Eliza, b. 1840 Robert, b. 1844 Printer William J., b. 1848 Cabinet Maker Maria, b. 1851, d. 29 Oct 1892 John S., b. 1855 Printer (emigrated to Boston with Eliza) George T. H., b. 1857, d. 11 Mar 1933 John Maxwell, the father, was a shoemaker, and was apparently Wesleyan Methodist. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated!
