I have recently been told that a Joseph MUNDY, a loyalist had the following land granted to him: New Brunswick registration date is June 29th 1787, Grant number 115. Acreage is 232 acres on the Oromocto River, Saint John Co. NB This is from a book about Loyalists Vol. B, page 109. I am trying to find the parents of Diana Mundy who was born in Ontario in 1843. She was baptised in Alnwick Twp. Northumberland Co. as the daughter of Joseph and Hannah Mundy. I believe that Joseph died before 1851 and Hannah died before 1861. Diana was listed as an orphan on the 1861 census. Is there anyone who has any information on this Joseph MUNDY and wondered if my Joseph may be him or his son. Thank you in advance for all your help.
