I'm trying to find information on a Patrick Breen, originally from County Wexford Ireland, who married Maria Power in St. John's in the 1820s. They had a son Gregory (my great great grandfather), who was born in December of 1836 or 1837. They also had a son Philip and a daughter. Gregory left St. John's and ended up in Boston, MA. He married Margaret Neville and they had six children. Three of the children contracted TB - two of them died in 1890. My great grandfather John Patrick Breen (born April 24, 1873), also contracted TB but according to the family, he was sent to St. John's to recouperate. He came back to Boston and married Rose Grueter and had seven children. John died in February of 1970. Any information on Gregory Breen or his father Patrick would be greatly appreciated. elcurley@aol.com
