Surnames found in the illustrations list include Allaire, Allen, Arnold, Babbit, Billop, Bliss, Botsford, Chipman, Clarke, Coffin, Hagerman, Harrison, Hatheway, Hubbard, Ludlow, Miles, Millidge, Miller, Murray, Odell, Paddock, Pagan, Peters, Rainsford, Robinson, Saunders, Sumonds, Street, Ward, and Wetmore.
