Dear Listers, I have found a great reference to books published about New Brunswick on the following web site: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nbpast/Books/biblio-g.html If anyone has a copy of the following two books by author Isabel Louise HILL, could you do a look-up for me for the following CLARK/CLARKE families in St. John or Queens County: Elisha CLARKE and Desire GARDNER/GARDINER and their children ( all born in Rhode Island) 1. Elisha marr. Catherine SLIP/SLIPP on Oct 15, 1799 at Hampstead NB 2. Gardiner b. abt 1764 3. Abigail b. abt 1767 marr. Gideon COREY 4. Jabez b. Mar 19, 1769 marr. Rebecca BURNEY on Jan 21, 1800 at Wickham NB 5. Benjamin b. Nov 12, 1771 6. Surnames found in the illustrations list include Allaire, Allen, Arnold, Babbit, Billop, Bliss, Botsford, Chipman, Clarke, Coffin, Hagerman, Harrison, Hatheway, Hubbard, Ludlow, Miles, Millidge, Miller, Murray, Odell, Paddock, Pagan, Peters, Rainsford, Robinson, Saunders, Sumonds, Street, Ward, and Wetmore.
