Have just joined this list. I have recently located my first piece of evidence giving the birth place of my G-grandfather in NB, and thought to be Miramichi. My family connection is: James FINN, b. ca 1802 Mary FINN (nee KEATING), b. ca 1812 Patrick FINN, b. 1847 married to Anne O'Brien lived in New York City from 1880-1888 d. 21 Nov 1925 in Toronto, ON I've also recently exchanged emails with Joe Carroll, a long time lister here. Thanks for your efforts Joe, even though there was no connection. Looking forward to participating in this list, and hope I can provide others with information as well as receiving some. I have the l901 Can. Census for Gloucester Cty NB and have seen some Finns in there......I also have previous census records for Glou. Co. and could do some look ups for you.....I also have the cemetery books for that County too.
