    3. Hello, Is the 1851 census the first one recorded? Are the cemetary transcriptions online? My GGG-grandparents lived in the Blissfield area from about 1820, but left in the 1840's. My GGG-grandmother died before the family left and can't find any record of her death. Thought maybe an earlier census would provide a little background. Jay -- Jay

    3. 1851 is the earliest. Best to try for church records. LDS has a lot of them. There are also cemetery transcriptions, but these are paper and can be purchased from the Miramichi Branch. What was your GGG-grandmother's name and age at death? And religion? ---------- Joe > From: Jay <jaay_st@yahoo.com> > Reply-To: CAN-NB-NORTHUMBERLAND-L@rootsweb.com > Date: Mon, 21 Apr 2003 07:37:48 -0400 > To: CAN-NB-NORTHUMBERLAND-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [CAN-NB-NORTHUMBERLAND-L] Re: Census > Resent-From: CAN-NB-NORTHUMBERLAND-L@rootsweb.com > Resent-Date: Mon, 21 Apr 2003 05:30:44 -0600 > > Hello, > Is the 1851 census the first one recorded?
