The Bathurst Heritage Commission wishes me to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who showed their support for their bid to have the Centennial/Library building as the new site for our local museum. The City Manager today informed the President of the Commission that he was avalanched with email support and assured her that the final decision will be up to City Council itself and not the committee reviewing the applications. It looks very good for them (the Commission) now, and it can be said that your letters have really weighed in and made them realize that there are friends out there (all over Canada, and the USA) willing to go to bat for a very worthy cause.
