As far as I know The Gleaner is on microfilm at the provincial archives. There are microfilms of the old Miramichi Newspapers (The World, The Gleaner, The Mercury and possibly the North Shore Leader) at the Chatham Library on King Street, Miramichi where one can view these on their microfilm readers. With regards to obituaries the Miramichi Genealogy Society are in the process of typing any old obituaries of people born in Northumberland County they can obtain. If you have some you wish to contribute obituaries please contact me. Dianne Cemetery & Census Project Co-ordinator for the Miramichi
