Hello I'm looking for my ancestors from the Blackville, New Brunswick area. My great-great grandparents were Alice M. Stevens (b. ~1842-1845) and John L. Stevens (b. ~1840). Both were born in Canada (I suspect Northumberland County) and they moved to Fort Fairfield, Maine between 1871 and 1881. They had at least one daughter in Canada -- she may be listed as Susan L. or Lavinia S. -- b. 1879. They also had at least one son after they moved to Maine -- Miles H. Alice's maiden name might be McKinnon (or MacKinnon) and I suspect she is descended from Gregor and Jane McKinnon, who had son Charles McKinnon, who had her. She also had a sister Jane who married a James Stevens (John's brother?). Anyway, I'm looking for John's parents. John's mother was born in Canada, but his father is listed as being born in Maine.
