A grand uncle Henry Daley & his sister Elizabeth Daley married Johanna Grogan & her brother Hugh Grogan in St Margarets, Northumberland Co. The Grogans were from Kouchibouguac, Kent Co. The two settlements are adjacent. Henry & Johanna were married Oct 1, 1879; Hugh & Elisabeth were married Nov 25, 1879. Hugh had 3 children that I have found so far two of whom died in infancy. Henry & Johanna had a number of children & there are still relatives both in St Margarets & Chatham (Miramichi City) today. I can print out the information I have and send as an attachment if you think this is the correct Grogan family. Bob Provost I thank you, also, Bill for this; my Grogans who married into the Beattie family were from Kouchibouguac. I have quite a few pieces of land/real estate transactions between the Grogans and the Beatties in the mid 19th century which I salvaged from the Provincial Archives. I'll keep your piece with my Grogans which are limited -- an I've not dug them out to compare yet. Sincerely, Don Beattie in Winthrop, ME.
