Here is his response: On 5 Mar. 1877 Wm. G Bateman had 2 grants totaling 300 acres at 176, 177 & 178 Block F, Calhoun Brook in Moncton (Vol. 97, Nos. 16734 & 5). On 20 Nov. 1854 Wm. G. Bateman had a grant of 109 acres at 92 S of Moncton Road in Shediac (Vol. 44, No. 6545). On 1 Sept. 1819 Wm., Wm. Jr. & John Bateman got 3 grants totaling 1000 acres at 1, 2 & 5 Bateman Brook in Shediac (Vol. 3, No. 1151).
