Thomas and Margaret Crosbie came from Dumfries, Scotland. They had 4 sons: William, John, James and George. 1. William married Marion Steel. Their son William went to Saint John. Son Alfred stayed in Chatham. I have information on at least these two sons and daughter Margaret who went to Maine via Massachusetts. I found as much as possible on PANB and on-line censuses on both Willam (Saint John) and Alfred but would like to know more about their children. 2. John married Margaret Johnson. I have traced their son John Graham to Massachusetts. Have some information on their children Jane, Margaret,Alexander and Walter. 3.James is on the 1881 census but I can't find anything other than that. His wife's name was Mary A. unknown and they had two children. 4. George Graham went to Newfoundland. I know some names listed on PANB marriages and deaths are connected to the family but I would like to know how. I would also like to know for sure if Ida Scott was the sister of Bessie Scott. They both seem to have been married to Alexander Crosbie. I know that the Palmer family also has a connection somehow. At least one Crosbie child from some family was raised by Palmers. Several years ago, I spoke to the only members of the Crosbie family livng in Miramichi. I was told by one that the families were definitely not related but the 1861 census shows otherwise. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
