    3. In the 1901 Census there is a William Palmer born 11 Mar 1858 married to a Mary born 18 May 1863. Arthur Owens in his web site, Descendants of Jesse Strang and Sarah Strang at http://members.tripod.com/~aowen/Strang/index.htm , has from other people's files that he is the son of William MacCallum Palmer (sr) and Johanna Doucette and that Mary was Mary Stephenson Price, no parents given. Boucher Palmer in a letter to me dated 12 Mar 1993, says that his grandfather was William Palmer, the son of Henry Palmer and Annie Ford who came to Tabusintac from PEI. Boucher's grandmother was Mary Price from Price Settlement. The Palmer who came from PEI was Charles not Henry and his wife was Ann Adams. I therefore made William palmer a son of David. Charles and Ann did have a son William born 1829 in Port Hill PEI ; but I have him died 2 Mar 1857. Clinton Morison has in his "along the North Shore" that William was a ship captain and accidentally took strychnine thinking it was a laxative, causing his own demise. MacCallum is a New Brunswick name, not a PEI name AFAIK. What is the source of the Stephenson in Mary Stephenson Price and who were here parents? bob gillis
