    3. Hello Allan, I just went through the Murphy names of the gravestones of Gloucester Co., which includes Bathurst. There were several families here from that time, but no James. Could he have had another first name? Can you give me a couple of other names so I can look for the family members? Did his widow remarry here? One came from Kelbrin Co. Cork, born about 1837 and another from Templemore, born about 1800, and so on. There have been an awful lot of stones just lost, and the Holy Family is not being cooperative at all in that they are saying there are no burial records. This is a straight out-and-out lie as they have been seen some years ago by my sister and others. The bishop here is a real detriment to our research. (unless of course you are French, then it is a different story). Would you like all the Murphy names so that you can analyze from there? I can send them via email (no charge of course). sincerely..........Patsy Hennessy Genealogy - Gravestone Inscriptions for Gloucester and Restigouche Co. NB http://www.bathurstgen.com
