Hello Listers - as suggested by David Paterson a couple of weeks ago, I am listing the four main families I am researching - CASSIDY, McKINLEY/MacKINLEY, TAYLOR and McKNIGHT - all from Northumberland County - either having originated there (after arrival from Ireland and Scotland), or having lived there for many years. I am particularly interested in the origin of John Cassidy of Burnt Church who married Mary Anderson. Jack Cassidy, Ontario, originally from Newcastle.

And I am interested in a Catherine Cassidy who married a John Carroll on 26 Oct 1874. No further trace of them have I been able to find. Any info welcome.
