    1. [CAN-NB-NORTHUMBERLAND-L] Re: Roll Call - MILTON, MILLIGAN
    2. Searching for information on John and Elizabeth (GREEN) MILLIGAN who were married in Blissfield, Northumberland, NB, on 27 Jun 1827. I believe he was born in Scotland; she was born in 1808 to Andrew and Sarah (MITCHELL) GREEN. John & Elizabeth apparently moved away from Blissfield after the marriage - at least, I can't find them on the tax rolls after 1827. I believe John & Elizabeth were dead by 1851, because in the 1851 census of Blissfield, there are several MILLIGAN children living with other families (Mitchell, Green, Dyer - all related to Elizabeth Green's family). I believe their daughter, Mary MILLIGAN (born about 1830) married Edward MILTON around 1855. Edward (born around 1833 in Nova Scotia) was the son of John & Hannah MILTON. John & Hannah Milton lived in Woodstock Parish, Carleton County from about 1840 to the 1870s. Edward and Mary (MILLIGAN) MILTON were in Jackson Brook, Washington County, ME at the time of the 1860 census, and in Anoka, MN, by the time of the 1870 census. Any help would be much appreciated - and I'm happy to share information! Mary Chamberlain
