Jay, My GRAY family lived in the Miramichi area...specifically Ferry Road and Millbank. I have almost nothing beyond my G-grandfather George GrRAY and his wife Annie JOHNSTONE. His second wife was Annie BEEK. There is a will from a William GRAY married to Jane DOWNS naming his son George GRAY, but it is not clear if this George is my G-grandfather or his father. They were Scottish, but I haven't been able to trace them to Scotland yet. Still trying....... Maybe one day we'll find a connection to your Helen GRAY. 8-) Nancy Jay wrote: > Nancy, Saw your post and had to ask - where your GRAY's from > Dumphries?
