I don't believe I have ever heard the name Calder in the area-then again that doesn't mean anything. What I would do is go to the Canadian censuses:automatedgenealogy.com The have the censuses for 1901 and 1911. I think the English censuses are also on-line but I don't know where. Good luck.

Alternatively, was there a directory that might show this photographer, if he was there? Thank you!

Good Morning, I am looking for the detail for Marie MAZEROLLE who married After 1830 and Before 1838 in Neguac Edouard BREAU, s/o Jacques BREAU & Judith SAVOIE. I realize that this is not a lot of information, however this is about all that I have at present. [Source: A Breau Genealogy, 2nd Ed., Family #182838, p. 183: Notes: Edouard was also a farmer in Neguac along with his brothers. He was counted on the 1851 census, along with his wife and five children. Ten years later in 1861 both he and his wife were deceased and their oldest son Pierre was recorded as the head of the family with four siblings at home. In 1871 Pierre was still taking care of three of his siblings. It must have been difficult because both Pierre and his brother were listed as being illiterate.] Any help would be appreciated, Andrea Scott

The name of the curé at that time was Père Alphée Babineau. The parish was la Paroisse St-François-de-Sales which I believe is also the name of the church. Good Afternoon, I am hoping to be able to identify the parents of NATALIE [ANATHALIE] MAZEROLLE, b. abt. 1809 who married on the 28th of July 1834 in Neguac ANSELME [Samuel] BREAU, son of Joseph & Angelique Julie LANDRY. Source: A Breau Genealogy, 2nd Ed. Family #182421, p. 180. It is thought that Natalie died sometime after Sep. 1843 after the birth of twin girls. Anselme appears on the 1851 census with a second wife, Marguerite Julie LEBLANC [Thomas & Rececca SAVOIE] and had 14 additional children if this is any help. Any help would be appreciated!
