Actually, I have asked them about this and the response was that there is to many for their system to hold and that they change them every so often. One day I found a relative that the rest of the family didn't know about (until they found a very old family bible that someone had) and then the next time that I was checking for that person she wasn't showing up anymore. I think that they really should get larger servers. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The Census reports list them as Irish, RC., I show burial notations etc. at St. Aloysius. I have not searched for this family in PEI yet, however, community history on several families in this particular area (Weldford Parish) Kent County suggest that many settlers originating in Ireland, Scotland born 1790-1818 landed ship at PEI and spread out from there with some going to Nova Scotia, others to Miramichi and Saint John, some of those who went to Miramichi were trapped on the shores by the Great Fire of 1825, they were lumbermen and the merchants who were the ship owners and employers took them aboard and they sailed to smoke free areas, some landing at Kouchiboucquac, others at Richibucto and Shediac. I expect your Martin and my John were relations and their time frame fits the known history. I have a couple of! websites going for Weldford Parish... Lived stillwater MN 1886-1903, then Gordon WI 1903-1912, then in stillwater the rest of his life until his death in 1942. From 1919-1940 he worked at Nevers Dam for Norhtern States Power. There is an interesting article on that on the Minnesota DNR page. He was my G-G Grandfather, and it's been passed on to me that as a logging camp boss he was one of the toughest guys around, and that one time he and his brother fought with one another and people came from miles around to see it. Laurence age 11 and John age 12. It appears that the two are brothers but they are living separately and listed as servants in their respective homes. Laurence is in the home of Alexander REINSBOROUGH and John is in the home of James LYNCH. Both claim to be of Irish descent but born in NB. I have been unable to find either on the 1861 census. Does anyone know who these 'brothers' were, what became of them or what their connection might have been to the families they were living with?
