    3. Hi Don, I do have the Black River Settlers book and so I do have the names of Gregor McKinnons kids and some of their marriages.....but also Jane Sharp had a son Thomas Sharp and I can find no mention of him anywhere either!! My early McKinnons married into the Forsyths, Fraser and other families....around the area........some of the McKinnon sons went to KENT county and I have found a few that are definetly not mine......so I am gradually trying to sort it out! One turned Catholic......the rest were Presbyterian. Jane McKinnon widow of Gregor died in 1857 so I would love to find out who she lived with and where she died..... the thrill of the hunt so to speak! 2. Jay do you have the Linda's address who was looking for McCinnons? My cousin sent me these. Thanks. Don Beattie ______ These are the earliest McKinnons I have - none match what you sent. Ernest is Mavis (McKinnon) Bradstreet's grandfather. Nearly all are about dates and for a time-period only - of no other importance. Thomas and siblings may have been born 10 or so years earlier. William was in WWI, and seems a bit old to have served, though my dates maybe correct. He was way up in his 80s and maybe in his 90s in the early 1960s. 3. Don, I am researching the decendands of David Stephens of Ludlow. This is the same David mentioned on pg6 in "Over the Portage". My GG-grandmother is the widow of Charles Stephens mentioned in Wiggin's "History of Aroostook" in the Merrill section. The widow was Ruth Cummings Stuart of Ludlow and the namesake of Ruth Cummings, daughter of one of the original settlers of Belfast Academy Grant. Any info you may have on the history would be greatly appreciated. Jay Stevens -- Jay

    3. Hi, Where are the Dwyers in Northumberland county? I have never found any descendants. Here is the onlym record of the family that I could find: Thomas DWYER married Mary MORAN May 12, 1831 in Northumberland County. Roman Catholic. Thomas was born about 1796 in Ireland and came to the Province about 1818. Mary was born about 1812 and arrive in 1824. She was very young, so she undoutabley travelled with family. Who was that family and where did they go? Their Children were: Margaret, b. 1835 Bridget, b. 1842 Elizabeth, b. 1843 Mary, 1845 Ellen, 1847 Edward, 1849 Catherine, 1851 I don't know of what became of any of these children except catherine who married Neil Feeney and lived in York County. I would like to hear from anyone with Dwyer roots in Northumberland County. William D.
