I'm trying to find out any and all information on this couple. John King was born in Calais (?), ME ABT 1857 and he married Lavina J Montgomery on 13 June 1880 in Calais (Marriage is in the VR of Calais, Maine Prior to 1892 - she is listed in these records as Lovina and Lovina J). His parents were Hezekiah & Jerusha (Cole) King. Apparently, John died on or about 30 May 1896 because he is on the Calais Cemetery Index (CCI) as being buried there on 4 June 1896 in Block 80, Lot 6. I'm not sure where he died. Lavina J (Montgomery) King is not listed on the CCI, but she is on the Calais Cemetery Card (as Lavena) for Block 80, Lot 6 with no date of burial. I do not know who Lavina's parents are/were or where and when she was born/died. If someone has information on this couple, I would very much appreciate hearing from you.
