I believe Lavonia Z Nason was my Great Great Grandmother. About all have to go on are the Loyalist Desendants of NB and family records. Robert Saunders was born in Scotland 1798. Came to NB in 1820(1851 cenus).Married Jane Tremble. James Saunders was born in 1838 but no indication of where. James Saunders was married to Lavonia Nason in Calais, Washington Co; ME. (Vital Records of Calais,ME.) Maybe Robert Saunders lived in Maine for a time.James and Lavonia had 4 children. 1.Minnie Mae Saunders (my Great Grandmother)2.Fred Saunders 3. Bradford Lorne Saunders 4.James Warrie Saunders. Minnie and Fred had no place of birth but James and Bradford showed NB. So I guess its possible for James Saunders to be born in Maine.
