And, I thought I would let you know that .. three.. Kidder brothers .. moved to New Ipswich around 1750 in order to help found that town. They moved from .. Westford, MA, (originally part of Chelmsford, MA) and were the sons of Thomas Kidder. Reuben's two brothers were Aaron Kidder and Joseph Kidder. Aaron also stayed in New Ipswich, but he died at Age 50. Joseph was my ancestor. He moved his family to the next town, Temple, NH. Calvin was one of his younger children. (Off the top of my head, the 3 brothers had over 30 children, and MANY .. descendants.) I have a Xerox copy of some of the pages out of the "History of New Ipswich, NH" which describe the Kidder's. But, I might not have read .. all .. the information, because I don't remember reading about his "politics." I have access to the "Kidder family history book" ("Descendants of Ensign James Kidder (1626-1676) of Cambridge and Billerica, MA,....") .. .. My line goes: James, John, Thomas, Joseph, Calvin, J. Calvin, Joseph, G. Sanford, Clinton, Clinton. (John Kidder was a large landowner in Chelmsford, MA.) (I live in this area.)
