We too would like to know who the Whitney she married was. We do have the 1784 Return info. Jerry also came up with a 1783 "Loyalty" list, apparently made in Penobscot area before the Loyalist migration, which includes Samuel, and two other over 16, with three under 16. You might also be interested in the "Thorndike Petition" of the Bagaduce (Castine) area -- which ties into these Trotts. It's online. Sarah Bradford seems almost certainly to be one of the daughters. Another source says she was sister to Susannah (supposed to have been a member at Oak Bay Baptist, and lived in Bayside -- love to get more info on her. The same source also says a third sister or half-sister "polly" married "Mr. Pettigrove." This may be Eliza Jane who married Benjamin Pettigrove, but she seems a bit too young. Clearly we're following the same trails. Keep in touch. Jim
