I'd be happy to help you but what lines are you looking for? Are you looking for help with the Nichols Line? If so I can't help you any more than take you to Aunt Amity (MORSE) NICHOLS. I remember my folks talking about Amity but I don't ever remember seeing her yet her suster Aunt Bessie I can remember!!. I have studied the Morse line extensively. You have also if you knew about our connection to the Grand Manan Johnston Family. So which family do you need help with: Morse,Gray,Sprague, Johnston, Smith or Quigley. I need help trying to figure out the fate of my Great-great grandfather . Benjamin H. Morse and his wife Harriett Johnston. Harriett must have died before 1860 and Benj. H. married for his second time and had 2 children Ida and Roberta. Ida's death certificate says her mother was Filiene Archer. It looks as if Benjamin H. married a third time to a Jan Carpenter of Eastport and a son William. Benjamin H. bought land from Jan's parents and put a house on it, then mortgaged it BUT Benjamin failed to make payment and lost the house and land.
