    1. [CAN-NB-CHARLOTTE] Question RE: 1920 Maine Census CD by Ancestry.com
    2. Heather Waddingham
    3. HI! This morning I got information from Ancestry.com regarding the sale of the 1920 US Census covering VT, NH and Maine. There appears to be two versions of this. One is $10.99, the other 39.99. Can someone tell me the reason for the large price difference?? If the only difference the fact the more expensive provides a link to there "one line" census records?? Or it the reason because the deluxe version has a instant index search?? The information I received was as follows: The 10.99 standard version stated: Available only through Ancestry.com, this instantly-searchable disc details more than 580,000 heads of household enumerated in the Fourteenth Census in the states of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Original 1920 census records were scanned and indexed from the National Archives and Records Administration microfilm. Additional questions asked included: address; name of each person living with the family; relationship to head of the family; sex; color or race; age; marital status; year of immigration to United States; and many more. In addition to instant index searches, each record on this deluxe CD-ROM includes an internet link to the matching original image of the 1920 U.S. Federal census online at Ancestry.com (no Ancestry.com data subscription is required). Does anyone have this CD?? Can someone tell me if it states on it if people were from "Canada"... in particular NB?? I am interested in finding out if possibly a number of families who once lived on Campobello NB can be found living in Maine as a number of families moved back and forth over the border.
