The data will be transcribed from scanned images, proof read, and then placed in an online searchable database and will be made available to the public FREE of charge. We have been in contact with the Ontario Archives and will take part in a formal process to evaluate our proposal. We need to estimate the number of volunteers the project may have and the length of time it may take to transcribe the approximately 5 million records in the collection.
