My grandfather was William McCrum born in Port Hope, Ontario in 1849...his father was James McCrum from Ireland...they were linen makers over there, but James was a shoemaker. William married Margaret Wilcox, whose mother was Jane Parks. Jane (Parks) and James Wilcox were storeowners in Cremore, Ontario.
