    3. I have added the index to the 1901 St. George, NB census-division 1-pages 1-3. You can find this on my main census page. These pages are scanned so the names will not be picked up by the search machine. The link to Division 2 on page 3 will not work as I haven't done Division 2 yet. Any broken links, let me know, also any surname corrections, I will list at the bottom of each page. Charlene Beney--co-ordinator for St. George, NB Parish Pages http://www.rootsweb.com/~nbpstgeo/

    1. [CAN-NB-CHARLOTTE] Update to St. George, NB Parish page
    2. Charlene Beney
    3. I have updated the St. George-Churches and Cemeteries page. On line 19- Anglican 'Baptisms' I have added the year 1855. On line 21- Anglican 'Weddings' I have found two from 1849 and have added them to the 1844-1849 page. On line 30 - Seaview Full Gospel Church I have added a link to their new website. There is some history of the church and the pastors. Is there anyone out there with any St. George, NB Catholic church records? Baptisms, marriages? I would like to start a database of the Catholic records, and as some of you know, there is a microfilm of mixed St. Andrews and St. George records. But if you do not recognize the last names, sometimes you cannot tell where the various people were from. So if any of you kind souls have any family records you wish to share...I would appreciate it. Thanks.. If nothing pans out, try the Provincial Archives online database at http://www.gnb.ca/archives/ols/ols.asp?Section=1 NB didn't start keeping vitals officially until 1900 or so, so unless you find her in census, cemetery or church records, then the late birth registration database might work. If you need further guidance let me know. Every parish coordinator also has an intimate knowledge of their particular parish as well, so don't hesitate to email any one of us. Marilyn

Surnames: Doherty Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wNC.2ACE/1108.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Nancy, well since the census says she was born in Saint John, I'd suggest you visit St. John County GenWeb at http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Enbstjohn/ and if you don't find anything there, ask the coordinator. Vital records were not required until 1900 in New Brunswick, so it's church & census records you'd be looking for. You can check some things on line from Provincial Archives of NB (PANB) at http://www.gnb.ca/archives/ols/ols.asp choose online research. One of the children's death certificates "MAY" show Harriet's maiden name, depending on when that child died. Good luck!

However, if you think the census was done in 1853 for this part of St. Andrews, then the ages work out. Check St. Andrews GenWeb at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nbstandr/ Cleadie has census posted as well as images, and cemetery transcripts, which are sure to help you.

Please remove Rebecca M. from spouse of your LHD. Oddly enough she married another by same name, but from NB. Even more odd, RMD's father is your Abigail's husband's father. So RMD's father was Leonard Daggett, her brother was Leonard Hillman Daggett (born in Maine) and she married Leonard Hillman Daggett (born in New Brunswick Canada). Like I said, this can be verified by reviewing the 1870 census. Regards, Susan

His daughter, Mary Ellen Kildea married Michael Dyer in 1862 and moved to Calais Me in 1869. Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on my mystery.
