    2. Hi Emilie, I checked my Maine Atlas (DeLorme), NB Place Names and NB Atlas, couldn't find anything close. The term "siding" tells me it's probably a railroad stop. Marilyn

Our email to you was undelivered. I have checked the ll references I had on Connicks but unfortunately have nothing on Eva Louise, Rolland Hill or Mildred Susan. You are probably aware of two items on Connicks in " Generations" a number of years ago, Issue 34, p. 38, and Issue 35, p. 56. (l987, 1988). Also, I don't know if would be helpful, but John Dudley of Alexander Maine told me a couple of years ago that he had some material on the Connick family. Good luck. Cal Craig, Bonny River, N.B. Surnames: Neish, Pomeroy Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wNC.2ACE/284.1 Message Board Post: Noticed your email. There is no cemetary in Little Ridge, so they must have been buried either in Pomeroy Ridge cemetary or Scotch Ridge cemetary. The Scotch Ridge cemetary is online at the St. James Parish website and I notice the following inscriptions are recorded: NEISH: = Grandfather - Mother George S. Joseph d. 16 Sep 1849 ae 3 yrs 7 mos George d. 9 Sep 1852 sons of John & Charlotte Neish Hope this is helpful. I have some slight information on a few Pomeroys, but nothing on the Neish family. I am a descendent of Charlotte's brother John (known as Rosy for his ruddy complexion and to distinguish him from several other contemporary John Pomeroy's. Hope this helps.

Surnames: POMEROY Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wNC.2ACE/266.2.1 Message Board Post: POMEROY - Rita's message of l8 Apr 02. Sorry to be so long in replying. I am compiling a book called "Early Families of the Mackadavy" and a number of people have sent me brief genealogies to go in the book. One of the early settlers on the Magaguadavic River who received a land grant at Piskehagen, near the Blockhouse, was Mary Ann Pomeroy about whom I am trying to find more data. In my file I have a number of things including: A genealogy sent to me by Bill Garcelon of St. Stephen covering the descendants of Richard Pomeroy (l784-1825) and his various descents including James B., Richard, John, George W., George Fred, John A., Benjamin, (1846-1910) Phoebe and Addie. Also, I have a copy from PANB in Fredericton (MC1/Pomeroy) - it is a brief describing the genealogy on file there of 13 pages covering Benjamin Pomeroy who would be your fellow I believe. (24 Jan 1741) son of William Pomeroy, m. 9 July 1763 at Pownelboro, Maine; his wfie was Hannah Pierce. There are ll children listed including some you have mentioned. Also, I have references to 10 Pomeroys in my computer index which I can draw if you need it. They are Anna, Benjamin, family general, Joseph, Levinia, Mary Ann, Mr., Olive Ann and Richard. Hope this is some help to you. Hope to hear from you again. Cal Craig, Bonny River, St. George, N.B. Canada
