We know he died after Feb 1822 in St. Stephen and she died after 1783 in Calais. I've got the line proven for DAR on Daniel, the United Empire Loyalist line proven on his dau Elizabeth's husband, James Maxwell and another cousin has the Mayflower line proven on Elizabeth Holmes. You can see most of the genealogy on my family website at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~strout/dat33.html#4 A link to the family genealogy can also be found by doing a search at the Charlotte County GenWeb site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nbcharlo/ on Hill Vital records were no officially kept in NB until 1900, so you'll have to rely on family bible pages, census, church records, etc. Marilyn Maxwell Strout, U.E.

    1. [CAN-NB-CHARLOTTE] Update to St. George, NB Parish Page
    2. Charlene Beney
    3. Since I have been asking for St. George pictures, I realized that I hadn't posted any myself. Not very fair :-). Anyway, I have uploaded a picture of my husband's 2nd great-grandfather, George Richard Sunderland. He lived and farmed in the Lee Settlement. He was from England, somewhere, I dream of finding the place someday. It is a charcoal sketch and since he died bef. 1871, it is historical I would say. You can find it on my main page, just click on the Historical pictures box and he is the last on the list for now. 2. Charlene Beney
    3. Have added a picture of Elizabeth Flossie McKay 1906-1911 to the Historical Pictures page. She was a Granddaughter of Priscilla (Williamson) and Thomas Alexander McKay. They are buried in the Second Falls Cemetery. If you check the Second Falls Cemetery page, and go to the picture of Ronald and Donald McKay's marker, you will find a kind offer of advice on restoration from the family member whose family made the marker. Keeping in mind this person lives in Ontario, and cannot physically help with the work :-). You will find the picture of Elizabeth McKay on the Historical pictures page of my site. Anymore family pictures out there? Pictures of buildings? Deed plans? So much information, so little time!! 1. [CAN-NB-CHARLOTTE] Hymns
    2. Emilie Bubin Green
    3. I wonder if anyone might be able to tell me about two hymns that were mentioned in an obituary from St. Stephen. The funeral was held in the United Church in 1940 and the hymns mentioned were "No Night There" and "Going Down the Valley". I checked the internet and have found a number of different composers and versions of these songs. What I would like to know is the likely composers for the pieces in the obituary. If the composer is unknown, if I had the first verse of each , I might be able to track them down. Thank you, Emilie

    3. Jim Cornell, the editor of the Saint Croix Courier, found two more very interesting postcards of the St. George, NB Fire Department. They are on the Historical Pictures section of the St. George Page. By the way, if anyone has any pictures of buildings, streets, families, etc that they would like posted..please do send them. As of 2002, St. George, NB does not have an historical society, so at least this way we have a chance to view some of these old photos. Thanks..
