My g-g-g-grandfather was born in Emerald Jct, P.E.I. He somehow made his way to N.B. (Victoria County) where he met and married his wife in 1864. I haven't been able to locate any Long's from P.E.I. John Long had a brother James who came to the Grand Falls, N.B. area as well. I had thought maybe that his family (parents & sibblings) might have moved to N.B. I was unable to find any of his family (for the exception of his brother) in the Victoria County area. Therefore I am looking in other counties. Would appreciate hearing from you. Regards

Good morning fellow list members. Happy holidays! My great grandfather was William Henry Steen born ca 1847, who according to his death certificate was the son of William and Ellen (Harvey) Steen. My great grandfather emigrated to Maine in 1878 according to the 1900 Federal Census. The enumerator showed he was born in English Canada and that both of his parents were born in English Canada. He was living in Corinth, Maine at the time of his marriage to my great grandmother Mary Evcelyn Bowden, Oct 25, 1882. I hope these names ring a bell with someone.
